Trade Credit (Payment on Account)

The problem

Business buyers rarely pay by card: they order, receive an invoice and pay it by bank transfer 30 or 45 days later. Sylius can show an "Offline" payment method, but it does not know who may use it, how much they still owe or when it is due, and its unpaid-orders job cancels those orders after 5 days.

Features

• Trade credit account per customer: credit limit and currency, credit hold, allow exceeding the limit, block when overdue, own terms, internal note.
• Payment terms on an Offline payment method: net N days, N days end of month, end of month + N days.
• The method is shown only when it is allowed (account, hold, overdue items, available credit), in the shop and the API.
• Atomic reservation at checkout completion: the limit is never exceeded, even with concurrent orders.
• The credit is settled when the payment is completed and released when the order or payment is cancelled, exactly once.
• Orders on account are excluded from sylius:cancel-unpaid-orders.
• Statement in the customer account and in the shop API: limit, committed, available, open items, due dates, ageing buckets.
• Admin: open items grid with Mark as paid, ledger per account.
• Commands: bank transfer import (CSV, dry run, all or nothing, idempotent), e-mail reminders before and after the due date, drift detection.
• French payment terms caps (L441-10) warnings; Factur-X due date and payment terms with the Factur-X plugin.
• ExternalCreditProviderInterface to use the credit position of an ERP.

Installation

1. composer require tmonier/sylius-trade-credit-plugin (installs tmonier/sylius-order-hold-plugin).
2. Register both bundles in config/bundles.php.
3. Import @TmonierSyliusTradeCreditPlugin/config/config.yaml and the routes.
4. Run bin/console doctrine:migrations:migrate (plugin tables only).
5. Create an Offline payment method, its payment terms, then a trade credit account for each approved customer.

Compatibility

Sylius 2.2.9+ and 2.3 with the Symfony Workflow adapter; MySQL, MariaDB and PostgreSQL. Optional: invoice links with sylius/invoicing-plugin, Factur-X terms with tmonier/sylius-facturx-plugin.
