The Request for Quote (RFQ) Plugin by Sylius extends Sylius with a structured quotation and negotiation workflow designed for B2B and wholesale commerce.

Instead of completing a standard checkout, customers can submit a Request for Quote based on the products and quantities in their cart. This allows buyers to request custom pricing, specific terms, or tailored offers when standard pricing or ordering flows are not sufficient.

From the merchant side, each quote request appears in the Sylius Admin Panel, where the sales team can review the request, prepare a personalized offer, and send it back to the customer. The offer may include adjusted pricing, additional notes, attachments, or negotiated conditions.

Customers can then accept the offer to convert it directly into an order, or respond with additional comments to continue the negotiation. This structured process helps businesses manage complex B2B sales scenarios while keeping all interactions inside the Sylius environment.

The RFQ module is part of the Sylius Plus modular offering and integrates closely with other B2B capabilities such as company accounts and advanced purchasing workflows.
