Command Palette

The problem

The Sylius 2 admin has no global search: the navbar field only searches products, the sidebar field only filters menu items, and there is no keyboard shortcut. Finding “order 1042” means opening the right grid and filtering it first.

Features

• Orders: exact number match first (1042, #1042 or 000001042), then the latest orders of customers matching the query; customer, total, state and payment state shown. Carts are never listed.

• Customers: e-mail, first name, last name, phone prefix, and “first last”.

• Products and variants: name in the administrator’s language or code, linked to the edit pages; disabled products flagged.

• Promotions and coupons by name or code.

• Pages and actions: every page of the admin main menu (including items added by other plugins) and actions such as “new product”, filtered instantly in the browser.

• Your own sources: tag a service implementing SearchProviderInterface.

• Keyboard navigation, accessible dialog (combobox / listbox pattern, focus trap and restore), light and dark themes, no build step and no JavaScript dependency.

Installation

1. composer require tmonier/sylius-command-palette-plugin

2. Register Tmonier\SyliusCommandPalettePlugin\TmonierSyliusCommandPalettePlugin in config/bundles.php.

3. Import @TmonierSyliusCommandPalettePlugin/config/config.yaml and the admin route.

4. Run bin/console assets:install. No migration: the plugin has no table.

Compatibility

Sylius 2.2 and 2.3; Symfony 7.4 and 8.0 (Symfony 6.4 support dropped in 1.1.0).
