Bulk Actions

The problem

The Sylius 2 admin grids can only delete in bulk. Disabling 40 products, cancelling a batch of unpaid orders, marking bank transfers as paid or shipping the morning’s parcels still means opening every item.

Features

• Same behaviour as the single admin action: state changes go through the Sylius state machine and the same resource events are dispatched, so confirmation e-mails, stock checks and cancellation side effects still happen.

• Each item on its own: an item that cannot be changed is skipped with a reason; one that fails does not stop the others.

• Clear report: “18 updated, 2 skipped, 0 failed” with the reason for each skipped or failed item.

• Safe: CSRF-protected confirmation page, administrators only, 500 items per request by default (configurable), batched flushes.

• Extensible: implement BulkActionInterface to add your own action.

Installation

1. composer require tmonier/sylius-bulk-actions-plugin

2. Register Tmonier\SyliusBulkActionsPlugin\TmonierSyliusBulkActionsPlugin in config/bundles.php.

3. Import @TmonierSyliusBulkActionsPlugin/config/config.yaml.

4. Import the admin routes. No migration: the plugin has no table.

Sylius 2.2 and 2.3; Symfony Workflow and Winzou-mapped graphs; MySQL, MariaDB and PostgreSQL.
